more than a little about me

Katrina is currently on a small team of amazingly talented designers & dreamers at Margot Elena Companies and Collections. There she is the project coordinator, helping to keep the team on track, and she designs products, print & web graphics for the brands Lollia, TokyoMilk, Library of Flowers, Love & Toast, and The Cottage Greenhouse - cited as Oprah's favorite brand right now!

Katrina's freelance illustrations can be found on Eddie Bauer Baby exclusively for Target: she created patterns for their current Fall/Winter 2016 & Spring 2017 line! The curious foxes, sleepy deer, and mischievous squirrels can be found alongside sophisticated textures and hand-sketched shapes.

Her hand painted and illustrated patterns are also used on textiles for Luci Bags handbags, and for The Tangerine Tree: an organic children's clothing line featuring vibrant, hand drawn whimsical patterns for girls and boys.

Katrina's first years of college were spent at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she fine tuned her love of color, patterns, painting, and drawing. But the prospect of warmer weather and blue skies was too much to ignore, and Katrina completed her BFA in Textiles at the California College of the Arts in the San Francisco Bay Area.

For the next five years, she worked in-house at an award winning surface design studio, Dena Designs, helping to create intricate patterns and products ranging from baby and tween fashion to adult bedding and tableware. She fine tuned her graphic design skills here, becoming an expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
